Antique Kurdish Rug

This antique rug, sourced from Ornate Rugs, was hand knotted in Persia using 100 percent handspun natural wool and traditional natural dyes. The repeating geometric pattern sits on a deep blend of blues and reds, lifted by small ivory highlights that add balance and movement throughout the design.

With more than a century of age, it has the character, texture and maturity that define true antique Kurdish weaving. Its larger proportions make it ideal for living rooms, dining rooms or wide transitional areas where a richly patterned tribal rug is needed.
